A special limited edition made from a unique natural mutation of the tea tree, which has a yellow colouration of the tea leaves. This world unique grows in only one place in Japan. The year-round production of teas from this cultivar is around 70kg. Thanks to our long-standing good relations with growers and producers in Japan, a limited quantity of GABA tea from the leaves of this tea plant has been produced at our initiative.
Japanese green tea with high GABA amino acid content from our own production. The tea leaves are organically grown, have a yellow-green color and give off a pleasant fruity-cream aroma reminiscent of melted butter and peaches. After steaming, pleasant fruity-buttery notes emerge with an aroma reminiscent of ripe peaches or apricot jam. The infusion has a yellowish color and a pleasant light fruity acidity which gradually sweetens in later infusions.
