Nicely evenly processed dark needles with a deep sweet aroma reminiscent of a coniferous forest. After the first infusion, a sweetly floral to fruity aroma emerges.

The yellow-green, distinctly sweet infusion is more reminiscent of kabusecha, which, combined with the scent of the forest, may be an indicator of the natural shading and the location of the plantation near the forest.

This sencha is made from Saemidori and Okumidori cultivars, both of which are umami-rich cultivars. This makes it very complex, playful and leaves a pleasant, medium lasting sparkly aftertaste.
