Exclusive Sencha from the Okuhikari cultivar from Shizuoka Prefecture grown at an altitude of 600m. The Okuhikari cultivar is mainly planted in mountainous areas and is a cross bred from Yabukita and a Chinese cultivar from Hubei Prefecture in 1964. Hikari means light.
The leaf is dark green, glossy and shaped into nice long needles. The infusion is clear, light green. Hikari means light. There are light citrus notes in the scent of the leaves. The taste is delicious and balanced. The aftertaste is sweet, juicy with a medium duration.
