About product

The first tea estate in Darjeeling (also known as Tukvar) was planted in 1852 by the pioneering British planter Dr. Campbell. Today, it is dominated by cultivated tea trees.

Notes of biscuit and peanut emerge in the aroma of dry leaf. In the steamed leaves and between the infusions, aromas of citrus, grapes and sweet flowers emerge.

The palate is playful, refreshing and sure to please with fine tannins and a nice aftertaste, not only in summer weather.

Puttabong Garden has been particularly dedicated to ecological improvement and biodiversity maintenance for many years.

The garden has received Fair Trade certification from FLO-CERT, HACCP certification from TUV-NORD, UTZ certification from IMO and SAN / Rainforest Alliance certification from IMO.
